Savra

The marketing & AI glossary.

Plain-English definitions of the terms your team actually uses, from brand voice to RAG. Each one grounded in how Savra puts it to work.

A/B testing

A/B testing is comparing two versions of a page, email, or ad by splitting traffic between them and measuring which converts better. It replaces opinion with evidence: the variant wins because visitors chose it, and the result carries statistical confidence rather than taste.

AI agent

An AI agent is software that uses a model to pursue a goal across multiple steps: it plans, uses tools, reads results, and adjusts, rather than answering one prompt. A marketing AI agent can audit a site, draft the fix, schedule the post, and read the analytics.

AI fundamentals

AI image generation

AI image generation is creating images from text descriptions with models like Flux, Recraft, and Kling: product shots, social visuals, ad creative, illustrations. Modern models produce production-grade output in seconds, and the craft has shifted to art direction, brand consistency, and prompt control.

Creative

AI slop

AI slop is low-quality, generic AI-generated content: technically fluent, factually shallow, and voiced like nobody in particular. It reads as filler, erodes brand trust, and increasingly gets filtered by both readers and search engines. The fix is grounding generation in real brand voice and real facts.

Ad health score

An ad health score is a single 0–100 grade for how well an ad account is set up and spending: structure, tracking, targeting, creative, and budget efficiency rolled into one number. Savra computes yours from 190+ automated checks against your live Google Ads data.

Answer engine optimization (AEO)

Answer engine optimization (AEO) is the practice of structuring content so AI assistants and answer engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews can extract and cite it when they answer questions. It matters because a growing share of searches now end in an AI answer instead of a click.

SEO & AI search

SERP

SERP stands for search engine results page: everything a search engine returns for a query, including organic listings, paid ads, and features like AI Overviews, featured snippets, People Also Ask, maps, and shopping carousels. Modern SEO is about winning space on the SERP, whatever shape it takes.

SEO & AI search

SERP analysis

SERP analysis is studying the actual results page for a target query before creating content: who ranks, in what format, with which SERP features. It reveals the intent the engine has inferred and the standard your page must beat, before you spend a word.

Research

Sales enablement

Sales enablement is equipping salespeople with the content, tools, and knowledge to sell effectively: battle cards, case studies, one-pagers, demo scripts, competitive intel. Done well, every rep sells with the strongest version of your story instead of a personal remix.

Sales

Schema markup

Schema markup is structured data, usually JSON-LD, added to a page so machines can read what the page is about: a product and its price, an FAQ, an article, a defined term. Search engines use it for rich results, and AI engines use it to extract facts with confidence.

SEO & AI search

Search intent

Search intent is the goal behind a query: to learn (informational), to find a site (navigational), to compare options (commercial), or to act (transactional). Matching a page’s format and depth to intent decides whether it can rank and whether the visit converts.

SEO & AI search

Sender reputation

Sender reputation is the score inbox providers keep on your sending domain and IP, built from bounce rates, spam complaints, engagement, and authentication. It decides whether your email lands in the inbox, the spam folder, or nowhere. Reputation is earned slowly and burned fast.

Email

Social media scheduling

Social media scheduling is drafting posts ahead of time and queuing them to publish automatically at set times across channels. It converts social from a daily scramble into a planned pipeline, and it frees you to write in batches while posting at the hours your audience is active.
