First-party data
AnalyticsDefinition
First-party data is information you collect directly from your own audience with their consent: analytics from your site, your email list, purchase history, survey answers. It is accurate, privacy-durable, and yours, unlike third-party data bought from brokers or inferred by other companies.
Privacy regulation and cookie deprecation gutted third-party targeting, which moved first-party data from nice-to-have to the substrate of modern marketing: audiences for ads, personalization for email, ground truth for measurement.
The practical challenge is connection. First-party data lives in silos (analytics here, CRM there, billing elsewhere), and its value shows up only when those sources meet in one working view.
How Savra puts it to work
Savra is first-party by design: GA4, Search Console, and Google Ads connect through Google’s own OAuth, and Savra reads your live data in your account. No screenshots, no stale exports, no middlemen.
People also ask
What is the difference between first-party and third-party data?
First-party you collect from your own audience; third-party someone else collected and sold. The first is consented and accurate, the second is disappearing.
What is zero-party data?
Information customers hand you on purpose (preferences, survey answers). Treat it as the highest-trust subset of first-party.
