Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
AnalyticsDefinition
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is Google’s current web and app analytics platform. It replaced Universal Analytics in 2023, models everything as events rather than sessions, and reports how people find and use your site: traffic sources, conversions, and behavior across devices.
GA4’s event model treats a pageview, a click, and a purchase as the same kind of thing: an event with parameters. That makes cross-device and app-plus-web measurement coherent, at the cost of a steeper interface than its predecessor.
Most teams use a fraction of it: traffic acquisition, conversion events, and a few explorations. The friction is access, since answers hide behind report-building skills most marketers never wanted to learn.
How Savra puts it to work
Savra connects to GA4 through Google’s own OAuth and reads your live property first-party. Ask questions in plain language, build dashboards, and export reports without screenshots or CSV shuffling.
People also ask
Is GA4 free?
Yes, the standard tier covers nearly all teams. GA4 360 is the paid enterprise tier with higher limits and SLAs.
Why does GA4 data differ from my other tools?
Different models: GA4 counts events with its own attribution and thresholds, while ad platforms count their own conversions. Comparing trends beats reconciling totals.
